We’re grateful you gave Surf a try, and we’re sorry to see you go! If you’d like to delete your Surf account and data, our team is happy to help. Just send us an email at support@surf.social with one or both of the following details:

  • Your Mastodon or Bluesky handle

  • The email you used to sign up for the Surf beta waitlist

Before you go, here’s what deleting your Surf account means:

  • We’re only deleting your Surf account’s feeds and data. Your Mastodon or Bluesky accounts will remain untouched.

  • Your Mastodon or Bluesky posts won’t be deleted. Any public posts you’ve made on those platforms may still appear on Surf.

We may retain such data to the extent necessary in order to enforce our policies or comply with the law, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us—we’re happy to help!
