You can control many variables in your custom feeds by selecting the "Settings" option available on your feed, such as:
- Cover (title, description, and cover)
- Filter & Sort
- Contributors
- Tabs
CoverIn the Cover Settings, you can change the name and description of the feed, upload a tile image for the feed, and change the color of the theme.
Filter & Sort
Surf offers potent tools for sorting and shaping your feed with filters. Use Order by to force reverse chronology. Toggle on/off to Include Reposts, Include Replies, Keep Feed On Topic, and Hide Mature Content.
Additionally, you can exclude Hashtags, Topics, and People from your feed. Select "Add," then search for relevant items to add to the exclude list.
ContributorsThe Contributors Settings lets you set a #hashtag or emojis for people to add posts to your custom feed.
Tabs
In the Tabs Settings, you can choose a default content type to display when opening your custom feed. For example, if your custom feed is primarily a space for enjoying photography, you might want people to see the "Look" tab when opening it. Likewise, if your feed is for your favorite podcasts, you might like it to default to the "Listen" tab.
