With the Flipboard widget, you get a quick highlight of stories straight from the app. Add the widget to your device’s home page to view stories without having to open the Flipboard app.
Add the Flipboard widget:
- Long-press an empty area on your home screen.
- Select Widgets.
- Select Flipboard, then drag and drop the widget onto your home screen.
- Select any story in the Flipboard widget to open the app. In order to view and interact with stories, you must be signed in.
SD Card
On some Android devices, you have the option of moving apps to the SD card. You cannot use the widget if moved Flipboard to an SD card.
How do I configure the widget refresh rate?
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Select Widget Updates.
- Choose your preferred update rate.
How do I change the content that appears in the Flipboard widget?
You cannot change the content that appears in the widget. This content comes from your home feed.
How do I remove the Flipboard widget?
Long press and drag the widget to your trash and select Remove.
