Clear the app’s content cache:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Locate Flipboard from your list of apps.
- Select Storage then Clear Cache.
Force close the app:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Locate Flipboard from your list of apps.
- Select Force Stop.
iOS
Clear the app’s content cache:
- Tap on your Profile tab.
- Tap to open Settings.
- Select Clear Content Cache.
Force close the app:
For iPhone 8 or earlier
- Double click the home button on your device.
- Locate the Flipboard preview.
- Swipe the Flipboard preview up to close.
For iPhone X or later
- While viewing your home screen, swipe up from the bottom.
- Locate and press on the Flipboard preview.
- Swipe the Flipboard preview up to close.

You can clear your browser's cache in your browser's settings. Closing the tab and then quitting the app and reopening may help.

If you’re experiencing spottiness with Flipboard on WiFi connection try switching to mobile data instead, or vice versa. Keep in mind, if you’re using mobile data to access Flipboard and have Cellular Data turned off that the app will not update.You need to switch to WiFi or turn cellular data for Flipboard back on.
