Push notifications allow us to send you updates straight to your mobile device, even without the Flipboard app open. Tapping on a push notification will direct you to the app to read more.
Push notifications must be enabled for Flipboard on your device to take advantage of this feature.
You can control the types of notifications that get pushed to your mobile device with the steps below.
Android
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Select Manage notifications.
- Switch off notifications you no longer want to receive.
iOS
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Select Manage notifications.
- Switch off notifications you no longer want to receive.
Possible delay
Once a notification has been turned off in the app, it can take up to 48 hours to take full effect.
How do I enable push notifications at the device level?
- Open your device Settings.
- Select Notifications.
- Locate Flipboard, then Allow Notifications.
From here you can also select how you would like notifications to appear when pushed to your mobile device.
