If you are deciding that federation is not for you, we got you covered. Just toggle off "Federation" in Settings (green is on, grey is off). As a courtesy, we also send a notice of deletion to servers who federate with us.

If you change your mind, you can also toggle federation back on.  Please note that we do not back fill content from when you were unfederated, sharing only happens while its set to on.
